Jurassic World Evolution 2 – To Play or Not to Play
I loved Jurassic World Evolution when it came out. I spent many hours playing it. Who wouldn’t want to build their own Jurassic Park? I almost played through the entire game, and I rarely do that. When Jurassic World Evolution 2 came out, I was skeptical. I figured it would be basically the same game as the first one. However, it’s even better than the first. They have several different modes to choose from including campaign, challenge, sandbox and chaos theory.
I started with the campaign. The campaign starts after the events of Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom. You have to recover dinosaurs that have gotten loose while working on the site where you keep them, because the site needs a little care. One of the best things about the game is taking the helicopter out to find the dinosaurs that have gotten loose and tranquilizing them. Lots of fun.
After getting the dinosaur back inside the habitat that is made for it, you then have to make repairs and inspect the dinosaurs to see what they need. You can setup ranger stations to automatically do this for you or do it manually.
While taking pictures of the dinosaur, we got a little too close and the dinosaur attacked us. Luckily, we got away with just a broken tailgate.
To Play or Not to Play
This game is a definite a to play. I put in many hours playing Jurassic World Evolution and I’m sure I’ll put in many more hours playing Jurassic World Evolution 2. They have made enough improvements that it seems like a new game compared to the previous installment. Oh, I almost forgot, there’s snow! Yes, snow! I don’t remember there being snow in the first one but there may have been. I can’t wait to play this one some more. If you’re like me and could use a break from the online multiplayers like Rogue Company, then give this one a try. Jurassic World Evolution 2 is one of those games you just don’t know when it’s time to put the controller down.
